I’m Tim, the treasurer of a 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. I prepare my organization’s tax forms, including Form 990-T, reporting unrelated business income (UBI) from income-producing activities. Problem is, I’m having trouble determining which activities generate UBI and which don’t. I’m never sure if I’m right.
